The Sky suffered their fourth straight loss with a 74-70 defeat to the Washington Mystics on Wednesday at Wintrust Arena. Chicago's record dropped to 11-19, putting them in a tough battle for playoff positioning at the lower end of the WNBA standings.
In contrast, Washington, despite a 9-22 overall record, has now won three consecutive games.
Reese, typically known for her double-doubles, had a subdued performance with seven points, 14 rebounds, and six turnovers. Rookie Kamilla Cardoso did record a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists, but their efforts weren't enough to overcome the Mystics, who were led by Stefanie Dolson's 17 points and six rebounds..
