Olivia Munn and John Mulaney welcome their second child via surrogate: 'So proud of my little plum'

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney. On Sunday, Munn shared a series of photos, including one with Mulaney holding their newborn. The couple's daughter was born earlier this month via surrogate.
Olivia Munn announced the birth of her daughter, Méi June Mulaney, on September 14, 2024, calling it a deeply emotional moment. "I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter," Munn shared, reflecting on her experience after being diagnosed with Luminal B breast cancer in April 2023. Following a double mastectomy and other surgeries, she underwent a hysterectomy due to her cancer treatment.
Munn expressed immense gratitude for their gestational surrogate, calling her a "real-life angel." "Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true," she wrote, proudly referring to Méi as her "little plum" and "little dragon." She clarified that Méi, pronounced "may," means plum in Chinese.
John Mulaney also celebrated the birth on Instagram with humor, writing, "We stole so much stuff from the hospital. I love my little girl so much."
The couple, who married earlier this year, also share a son, Malcolm, born on November 24, 2021. In a May interview with "Good Morning America," Munn opened up about their decision to pursue surrogacy after her health struggles. "John and I realized we weren’t done growing our family," Munn said. After undergoing egg retrieval, despite the risks, they were overjoyed to learn they had two healthy embryos.
