**Coordinated Explosions Across Lebanon Kill 20, Injure Over 450**
A series of explosions from communication devices went off in Lebanon, killing at least 20 people and injuring more than 450, officials reported. This comes a day after similar attacks involving pagers used by Hezbollah killed 12 and wounded thousands.
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a "new phase" in the conflict, stating that after months of fighting Hamas in Gaza, focus and resources are shifting to the northern front.
Meanwhile, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution urging Israel to end its occupation of Palestinian territories within a year. The conflict has claimed 41,272 lives and left 95,551 wounded in Gaza. In Israel, at least 1,139 were killed during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, with over 200 taken captive.
