President Asif Ali Zardari and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the Musakhail attack as "barbaric" in separate statements, vowing that the attackers would face justice.
Uzma Bukhari, spokesperson for the Punjab provincial government, expressed deep concern over the assaults and urged the Balochistan provincial government to intensify efforts to eliminate BLA terrorists.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti also promised that the attackers would be brought to justice.
Local media reported that security forces had killed 12 rebel fighters across the province in the past 24 hours.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for similar attacks in the past, such as the killing of seven barbers in Gwadar in May and the April abductions and murders of several people from a highway.
Armed groups like the BLA, operating in the resource-rich but impoverished province, have secessionist goals and often target laborers from Punjab who come to the area for work.....
