"Israel's War on Gaza Live: Bodies Left Behind After Israel Exits Khan Younis"..

Israeli forces have withdrawn from eastern Khan Younis after a 22-day military operation, leaving significant destruction behind. The Palestinian Civil Defence has recovered at least nine bodies in the area so far. Meanwhile, Israel's large-scale raid on the occupied West Bank has entered its third day, with the Israeli army claiming to have killed Hamas commander Wassam Hazem in Jenin.

The World Health Organization has announced that Israel has agreed to limited "humanitarian pauses" to allow essential polio vaccinations in Gaza, with over 1.2 million vaccines already in the Strip and an additional 400,000 on the way.

At a UN Security Council meeting, China condemned Israel, stating, "We must never allow the same humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza to happen in the West Bank, which would turn it into another hell on earth."

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 40,602 people and injured 93,855 in Gaza. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7.
