LIVE: Israel strikes kill paramedics and women in Lebanon; dozens dead in Gaza

At least six people, including four Lebanese paramedics, were killed in an Israeli strike on a civil defense center in southern Lebanon, according to the Health Ministry. Another Israeli strike on Baalbek killed at least eight people, including five women, and injured 27 others.

In Gaza, the Health Ministry reported 24 Palestinians killed and 112 wounded over the last 24 hours. Palestinian American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has called for U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to resign after his deadline for increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza passed without consequence for Israel.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed at least 43,736 Palestinians and injured 103,370. Meanwhile, the October 7 Hamas-led attacks in Israel killed 1,139 people, with over 200 others taken captive. In Lebanon, Israeli attacks have resulted in 3,386 deaths and 14,417 injuries since the war on Gaza began.
