Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue military operations against Hezbollah, regardless of any potential ceasefire agreements, as U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein arrived in Beirut for truce negotiations.
In Gaza, medical sources reported at least 50 Palestinians killed on Monday by Israeli strikes. Local authorities also cracked down on looters targeting aid trucks amidst dire food shortages.
The conflict in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 43,922 Palestinians and left 103,898 injured since October 7, 2023. On that same day, Hamas-led attacks killed an estimated 1,139 people in Israel, with over 200 taken hostage.
In Lebanon, Israeli attacks since the war’s escalation have killed at least 3,516 people and wounded 14,929.
