Sky's Angel Reese collects 20 rebounds for the second consecutive game, entering the record books alongside Shaq...

Angel Reese's dominance on the boards continues.

In the Chicago Sky's 82-80 loss to the Connecticut Sun on Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena, Reese recorded 13 points and 20 rebounds. This performance marks her second consecutive game with 20+ rebounds and makes her the first player in the WNBA or NBA to achieve back-to-back 20+ rebound games since Shaquille O'Neal, also an LSU alum, in April 1993.

Friday's game also marked Reese's 21st double-double of the season in just her 28th career WNBA game. The Sky forward is averaging a double-double this season with 13.6 points and 12.6 rebounds per game, leading the WNBA in both categories. Additionally, she tops the league in offensive rebounds, averaging 5.1 per game.

Marina Mabrey, who began the season with the Sky before being traded to the Sun ahead of the 2024 WNBA All-Star break, scored a game-high 24 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3PT) in her first matchup against her former team.

On Friday, Angel Reese shot 3-of-12 from the field but made up for it by going 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
