In his opening remarks, Netanyahu stated that Israel's preemptive strike on Hezbollah in Lebanon was not "the end of the story."
"Hezbollah attempted to attack the State of Israel with rockets and drones," Netanyahu said. "We directed the IDF to execute a strong, preemptive strike to neutralize the threat."
"The IDF has destroyed thousands of short-range rockets, all aimed at endangering our citizens and forces in the Galilee," he continued. "Additionally, the IDF intercepted all drones launched by Hezbollah targeting strategic locations in the center of the country."
