Dozens have been killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza, with Al Jazeera reporting that patients and staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital were “soaked in blood” following multiple drone attacks on the besieged facility.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) warns that bitterly cold weather in Gaza is worsening conditions for displaced families sheltering without adequate clothing or blankets.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported five injuries in an Israeli attack near Bint Jbeil, despite an ongoing ceasefire with Hezbollah that has seen repeated Israeli violations.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has claimed at least 44,612 Palestinian lives and injured 105,834. On the same day, Hamas-led attacks killed 1,139 people in Israel, with over 200 taken captive.
In Lebanon, Israeli strikes have killed at least 4,047 people and wounded 16,638 since the conflict began.
