Jessica Pegula of the United States will face Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus in the US Open women’s final. The match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York is set to begin at 4 p.m. local time (8:00 p.m. GMT).
Pegula advanced to the final by coming from a set down to defeat Karolina Muchova of Czechia in their semifinal on Friday. Sabalenka secured her place with a straight-set victory over Emma Navarro of the US.
Last year, Sabalenka was the runner-up, losing to American Coco Gauff.
