At least 31 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Saturday, according to medical sources. In response, an estimated 750,000 Israelis participated in one of the largest protests in the country’s history, expressing frustration over the government's failure to secure the release of captives.
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned Israel’s “blatant violation” of “human values” following the death of three paramedics in an attack in southern Lebanon on Saturday.
Since the start of the conflict, at least 40,939 people have been killed and 94,616 wounded in Gaza. On October 7, Hamas-led attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 1,139 people in Israel, with around 239 individuals taken captive.
