"Live: Israel Intensifies Strikes on Lebanon Amid Mourning for Hezbollah Leader"

Al Jazeera reports that Israeli warplanes have continued their relentless bombardment of Lebanon, with 33 people killed on Saturday, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Lebanon declared three days of mourning for Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime Hezbollah leader, following his death in an Israeli airstrike.

In response, U.S. President Joe Biden has called for an immediate ceasefire, while U.S. politicians continue to support Israel after Nasrallah's death in an Israeli strike on a Beirut suburb.

The conflict has also seen devastating losses in Gaza, with at least 41,586 people killed and 96,210 wounded. Meanwhile, the death toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 stands at over 1,139, with more than 200 people taken captive.
