Israeli forces killed at least 26 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, including five civilians sheltering in a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City. The Israeli military ordered an evacuation of parts of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, while the Palestinian Foreign Ministry warned that these evacuations might signal plans to annex Gaza for settlements.
In Israel, massive protests erupted in Tel Aviv, with hundreds of thousands demanding the government negotiate with Hamas to secure the release of hostages. So far, Israel’s war on Gaza has claimed over 41,182 lives and injured 95,280. The October 7 Hamas-led attacks left at least 1,139 dead in Israel, with more than 200 captives still held in Gaza.
