The Israeli military reports that Hezbollah attempted to target locations in northern and central Israel, but the attacks were unsuccessful.

Israeli military spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani stated that Hezbollah had planned a “wide attack” targeting both northern and central Israel, but these attempts were thwarted. "Hezbollah primarily targeted the north but had a few objectives in central Israel, which they were unable to execute due to our self-defense operation this morning," Shoshani said.
Israel reported that it conducted preemptive strikes against Hezbollah to prevent a major attack. Meanwhile, the Shia militant group claimed its operation had been a "complete success."
Regarding the Israeli strikes in Lebanon, Shoshani mentioned that the Israel Defense Forces focused on areas in southern Lebanon with a "large concentration of rocket launchers." Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported that at least three people were killed in these strikes.
