The Washington Commanders will now be playing at Northwest Stadium.
The team has entered into a multiyear stadium naming rights agreement with Northwest Federal Credit Union. This deal could mark the final name for the Landover facility as the team plans for a new stadium.
Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, sources indicate that it is an eight-year agreement, extending through the 2031 season, and surpasses the average annual value of the previous contract with FedEx, which was approximately $7.5 million per year.
