Live: Israel’s war on Gaza intensifies as army strikes homes, killing 33 in a single day.

 


 Gaza's Health Ministry reports that Israeli attacks have killed 33 Palestinians and injured 145 over the past 24 hours.

An attack at the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge, which borders the occupied West Bank and Jordan, resulted in the deaths of three Israeli security guards.

Around 750,000 people participated in one of Israel’s largest protests, expressing frustration over the government’s failure to secure the release of captives held in Gaza.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned Israel’s “blatant violation” of “human values” following the death of three paramedics in southern Lebanon on Saturday.

The ongoing conflict has claimed at least 40,972 lives and left 94,761 wounded in Gaza. In Israel, the death toll from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 stands at a minimum of 1,139, with more than 200 people taken captive.

Israel reports intercepting a drone from Lebanon

The Israeli army has intercepted a drone that crossed from Lebanon over the Malkia area in northern Israel. No damage or injuries were reported from the interception.

In a separate development, the army stated that the air force targeted a Hezbollah “military infrastructure site” in Rihan, southern Lebanon.


 Qatar Red Crescent Society pledges $4.5 million in aid for Palestinians

The Qatar Red Crescent and the UN agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) have signed an agreement to provide $4.5 million from a Qatari state development fund. This assistance will support over 4,400 stranded Palestinian workers and patients from Gaza currently in the West Bank.
