Israeli attacks in Nuseirat, central Gaza, have killed at least 20 people, contributing to a total of at least 34 deaths across the Strip today, according to medical sources on the ground. Gaza health officials have started vaccinating some children against polio in the central area, with a larger UN-led campaign set to begin tomorrow.
In Jenin, the ongoing siege by Israeli forces has left Palestinian residents without access to food, water, electricity, or internet, marking the most intense military raid in the occupied West Bank in decades. The UNRWA reports that 20 Palestinians, including a person with disabilities and several children, have been killed in the West Bank since the start of the Israeli incursion on Wednesday.
The conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 40,691 people in Gaza and 94,060 wounded. In Israel, approximately 1,139 people were killed during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7.
